CRITERIA FOR ASSESSING THE EFFECTIVENESS OF STEAM EDUCATION BASED ON DIGITAL COMPETENCIES

Abstract

This article analyzes the criteria for assessing the effectiveness of STEAM
education based on digital competencies. The widespread integration of digital technologies into
the modern educational process expands the potential of the STEAM approach and contributes to
the development of students’ critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, collaboration, and
digital literacy skills. The study highlights the importance of such criteria for evaluating the
effectiveness of STEAM education as the level of digital competencies, learning activity
engagement, innovative thinking, outcomes of practical projects, and reflective practice.
