Abstract

The article examines modern approaches to developing speed and strength
abilities among university students involved in basketball during physical education classes.
Pedagogical methods aimed at improving training efficiency are analyzed, including circuit and
interval training, plyometric exercises, and game-based tasks with competitive elements. The study
notes that an integrated approach enhances explosive power, reaction speed, and movement
coordination, positively influencing students’ overall physical fitness. Experimental results
demonstrate an increase in speed-strength endurance indicators
