Abstract

This article highlights the relevance, scientific-pedagogical foundations, and
practical significance of implementing green chemistry principles in teaching chemistry in general
secondary schools. The main objective of the study is to determine the effectiveness of  environmentally safe, resource-efficient, and project-based educational activities in developing 359
students’ research skills. The article analyzes models of “green” projects, including natural
indicators, bioplastic synthesis, and waste recycling, as well as their methodological aspects. The
research results demonstrate that this approach effectively promotes students’ ability to formulate
scientific hypotheses, plan experiments, analyze results, and develop ecological thinking
