The article examines the pedagogical possibilities of developing the personality of a
socially active teacher as a key subject of the educational process. Emphasis is placed on the role of social
activity in the formation of a teacher’s professional identity, leadership qualities, communication skills,
and emotional intelligence. The influence of a socially active teacher on fostering civic responsibility,
tolerance, and creative thinking in students is explored.
