Abstract

This article psychologically analyzes the correlation between students' drive for
success and their level of emotional intelligence. Skills such as emotional self-awareness, selfmanagement, social relationships, and empathy are highlighted as crucial factors in achieving
success. The study examines how internal motivation, emotional awareness and regulation, social
competence, and stress resilience influence academic success. The findings indicate that students
with higher levels of emotional intelligence demonstrate stronger achievement motivation, better
self-understanding, clearer goal-setting, and more effective decision-making processes. The
research highlights the crucial role of emotional intelligence as a key factor in students’ personal
development, motivational enhancement, and overall academic performance.
