Abstract

This article examines the methodological system for developing environmental culture in students through nature descriptions in fiction. The research analyzes modern theories of environmental education, nature images in literary texts, and their educational potential. The research results demonstrate that nature descriptions in fiction serve as an effective tool for forming students’ emotional and value-based attitudes toward nature in the process of environmental education, developing the ability to understand environmental problems, and forming practical competencies in environmental protection
