Abstract

This article analyzes the institutional role of the mahalla in the system of

providing socio-political services to the population of Uzbekistan, as well as its modern

development trends. It examines the role of the mahalla in implementing social policy and the

mechanisms for ensuring targeted social assistance, including the “Iron Notebook,” “Women’s

Notebook,” and “Youth Notebook” systems.
