TYPES OF LITERARY TEXTS AND THEIR ANALYSIS

Abstract

. This article analyzes the essence of the concept of a literary text, its structural

features, and the main types that differ according to content. Special attention is given to the

distinctive characteristics of narrative, descriptive, explanatory, didactic, informative, imperative,

and emotional types of texts, as well as to their significance in developing students’ thinking and

speech abilities. Moreover, the article highlights the role of each text type in shaping students’

creative thinking, analytical approach, aesthetic taste, and moral values. According to the

research findings, the integrated linguistic, psychological, and pedagogical analysis of literary

text types in the teaching process increases its effectiveness
