SOCIO-ECONOMIC COOPERATION BETWEEN UZBEKISTAN AND GERMANY DURING THE YEARS OF INDEPENDENCE

Abstract

This article examines the socio-economic and political cooperation between

the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Federal Republic of Germany during the years of

independence. As one of the most developed and leading countries in Western Europe, Germany

occupies a special place in Uzbekistan’s foreign policy strategy. Particular attention is given to

the activities of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, under whose

leadership the relations between the two countries have entered a new stage of development
