HISTORICAL FOUNDATIONS OF THE MUSEUMIZATION OF THE VARAKHSHA ARCHAEOLOGICAL MONUMENT

Abstract

This article discusses the history of Varakhsha, the central city of the Bukhara rulers
during the ancient and early medieval periods, which played an important role in the urbanization
processes of the Bukhara oasis, the archaeological research conducted in the region, and the historical
foundations of its museology.
