THE ROLE OF ADVANCED EXPERIENCES IN DEVELOPING CREATIVE THINKING AND COMPETENCES IN STUDENTS

The article highlights the current issues of chemistry in general secondary education, such as developing chemical knowledge in students based on creative thinking and a competency-based approach, and connecting chemistry with life.
Also, the use of competency-based knowledge in chemistry lessons requires the teacher to identify questions and tasks that create a problematic situation on the issues that the teacher must solve, follow the principles of logic and consistency, identify tools and methods that ensure the management of students’ cognitive activity, and ways to use them appropriately and effectively. Recommendations are given on problematic situations in organizing chemistry lessons for chemistry teachers.
