A MOTIVATIONAL APPROACH TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF STUDENTS' BASIC COMPETENCIES IN UZBEK LANGUAGE LESSONS

Abstract

In the modern education system, it is impossible to limit oneself to the
formation of students' theoretical knowledge. The development of students' communicative,
creative, social, and information-communication skills in the learning process is recognized as
one of the main objectives of education. The importance of the motivational approach in the
formation of these competencies is invaluable. In Uzbek language lessons, the development of
basic competencies can be achieved by increasing students' interest, stimulating them to learn
independently, and awakening their inner needs for knowledge. This article will cover in detail
the essence of the motivational approach, its place in Uzbek language lessons, the role and
effective methods in the development of basic competencies.
