DESCRIPTION OF RELIGIOUS RITES AND OSSUARIES IN ANCIENT KHOREZM (SOGDIA, TOK-KALA,MARGIANA GONNUR )

Abstract

This article analyzes the descriptions and distinctions of ossuaries alongside
the most ancient burial rites and traditions in the territory of Khorezm. It explores the emergence
of dakhmas and religious rituals in the Khorezm region, as well as the evolutionary stages of
ossuary development. Burial rites in Khorezm date back to ancient times, and certain elements of
these practices have been preserved to the present day.
