This article analyzes the pedagogical model for organizing independent
learning based on a language portfolio in the educational process, as well as the use of digital
technologies in its implementation. The study scientifically substantiates the role of the language
portfolio in developing learners’ self-assessment skills, reflective thinking, language
competencies, and the individualization of the educational process. In addition, the didactic
