The work is an interdisciplinary study combining archaeological, architectural, and
historical-cultural analysis of residential buildings in Bukhara in the 16th–19th centuries. The
article reveals the features of the design solutions of residential buildings, the influence of
religious and ethnocultural factors, as well as the relationship between the social status of
residents and architectural typology. The results obtained are of interest to specialists in the field
of history, architecture, restoration and cultural studies
