TEXTILE INDUSTRY IN BUKHARA, SAMARKAND AND NAVOI REGIONS: HISTORICAL ANALYSIS

Abstract

This article presents a scientific analysis of the developmental stages of the textile industry in Samarkand, Bukhara, and Navoi regions following Uzbekistan's independence, addressing existing problems and their solutions. The study provides a comparative analysis of textile enterprises' activities in these regions, focusing on modernization processes, export potential, and technological capabilities. Furthermore, it highlights the main challenges faced by the industrial sector, including technological obsolescence, personnel issues, and difficulties in adapting to market demands, offering scientifically grounded proposals to overcome these obstacles. The information presented is based on a comprehensive review of literature, sources, press materials, and interviews.
