Abstract

This article highlights the psychological and pedagogical aspects of

underachievement commonly observed among students. It analyzes the causes of

underachievement and presents effective methods for its elimination, along with preventive

measures. The article also emphasizes the need for an individual approach to students, increasing

motivation, and establishing collaboration between parents and educators within the educational

process. The recommended methodological and psychological approaches aim to enhance

students' learning activity and improve their academic performance
