Bukhara yesterday and today: the example of the regional “Museum of memory of the victims of repression” in the structure of the Bukhara State University

Abstract

The article analyzes the opening of the first museums in the Bukhara region,

telling about the fates of people repressed during the years of Soviet power, and their current

activities. At the same time, the creation of the Museum "Victims of Repression and Memory" in

the Bukhara region reveals its place and role in the patriotic education of the younger generation.

The museum highlights the history of the Bukhara region and its present through photographs of

existing monuments. In addition, the existing sections of the museum and the exhibits presented in

them are analyzed in detail, showing their historical significance in our days
