METHODOLOGY FOR DEVELOPING STUDENTS' READING LITERACY THROUGH FICTIONAL TEXTS IN THE STORY GENRE IN PRIMARY GRADES

Abstract

This article discusses the methodology for developing reading literacy among
primary school students through literary texts in the short story genre. It outlines methodological
approaches and stages of working with stories and reveals the importance of this genre in
developing students’ thinking and speech.
