IMPROVING THE PROFESSIONAL TRAINING OF PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS BASED ON THE TALIS INTERNATIONAL STUDY

. This article analyzes the professional training of teachers in the primary
education system, their professional development, the level of mastering modern pedagogical
technologies, and the role of the TALIS international study in this process. The article also
highlights the competencies necessary for primary school teachers in Uzbekistan's education
system, identifies existing problems, and provides recommendations. The issue of improving the
professional and methodological training of future primary school teachers based on the TALIS
international study is studied in depth. The article analyzes the content, purpose, and structure of
the TALIS international study and reveals the factors for developing professional competencies
based on the experience of leading foreign countries.
