Abstract

This article, based on the materials of numerous sources, provides a scientific
study of the history of the spread of new varieties of fruit trees in the Turkestan region in the late
19th and early 20th centuries. Issues related to changes in the field of horticulture in Turkestan,
the introduction of new varieties of fruit trees, the process of acclimatizing them to local
conditions, their productivity, and the results of good work carried out in this direction were
described as much as possible through the analysis of news, information, and articles from the
“Turkestan Collection”.
