METHODOLOGY FOR DESIGNING CRITICAL THINKING-ORIENTED TASKS IN NATIVE LANGUAGE EDUCATION

Abstract

This article examines the theoretical and methodological foundations of teaching
expressive reading of literary texts to primary school students. The influence of expressive reading
on the development of students’ speech, thinking, and aesthetic education is analyzed. The stages
of developing expressive reading skills in primary school reading lessons, effective pedagogical
methods, and the role of the teacher in this process are also discussed.
