Abstract

This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the theoretical and practical
foundations of modern pedagogical approaches in educating the digital generation. It
substantiates that under the conditions of globalization and digital transformation, the worldview,
thinking patterns, communicative activity, and social relations of young people are increasingly
shaped by information and communication technologies. The study examines the significance of
interactive methods, media literacy, STEAM technologies, multimedia tools, competency-based
approaches, and distance learning platforms in the educational and upbringing process of the
younger generation. The article also analyzes the role of digital pedagogy in developing students’
creative and critical thinking abilities, independent learning skills, and communicative
competence. Particular attention is paid to media literacy issues, protecting young people from
harmful information on the Internet and social networks, and developing information security
culture. The research findings demonstrate that an educational environment organized on the
basis of modern pedagogical technologies increases students’ learning motivation, develops
innovative thinking, and contributes to the formation of digital competencies.
