DIDACTIC FOUNDATIONS OF TEACHING CRITICAL THINKING THROUGH THE DEVELOPMENT OF STUDENTS’ DIGITAL COMPETENCIES

Abstract

This article scientifically analyzes the didactic foundations of teaching critical
thinking through the development of students’ digital competencies. It highlights the pedagogical
potential of digital technologies, information and communication technologies (ICT), and
interactive teaching methods in the modern educational system. The issues of developing critical
information analysis skills, digital literacy, and the effective use of educational technologies are
also discussed
