METHODS OF TEACHING SCHOOL REPERTOIRE IN FOURTH GRADE

Abstract

This article describes the main objectives of music instruction in fourth grade:
developing students’ musical culture, artistic taste, and musical sensitivity, as well as instilling a
spirit of patriotism through masterpieces of Uzbek folk and classical music. It also describes
methods for systematizing knowledge about musical genres and styles, developing creative
thinking about music, understanding the language of musical expression, developing the ability to
respond emotionally to works, and improving skills in group singing, intonation, and musicalrhythmic movement.In particular, it describes methods such as using flashcards with pictures of
various musical instruments or showing videos about the process of creating musical works, as
well as visual aids that make the lesson more interesting and memorable.
