Abstract

This article examines the symbiosis of religious and national attributes in the
construction and interior decoration of traditional Uzbek dwellings. Traditional rituals such as
laying the foundation and installing the main beam, as well as customs related to master craftsmen
and apprentices, ensured the harmonious combination and continuous transmission of national
and religious values. Furthermore, geometric and vegetal ornaments on walls and ceilings, as
well as symbolic motifs in carpets and embroidery, served to spiritually purify and protect the
living environment.
