EVACUATION OF THE POPULATION TO THE ANDIZHAN AND NAMANGAN REGIONS DURING THE SECOND WORLD WAR

Abstract

The article describes the evacuation of the population from the western regions of the USSR

to the territory of the Uzbek SSR during the Second World War, the resettlement of displaced

persons and orphans in the Andizhan and Namangan regions, as well as the humanitarian

assistance provided to them by the local population.
