EDUCATIONAL DICTIONARIES AND PRINCIPLES OF THEIR COMPILATION

Abstract

This article analyzes the essence of educational dictionaries, their role in the

educational process and didactic significance. The differences between educational dictionaries and other

types of dictionaries are highlighted, and the main principles for their compilation are analyzed in detail,

such as the age of the addressee, the level of the language, the stage of the language being taught, and the

goals of education. The article is of practical importance in the effective organization of the language

learning process and the systematic formation of dictionary materials
