The article highlights the historical formation of the prosecutor’s office as an

institution and its stages of development from ancient states to the modern legal system of

Uzbekistan. It analyzes the legal control structures of Ancient Rome and Muslim states, as well as

the significance of the Laws “On the Prosecutor’s Office” adopted in Uzbekistan in 1992 and
