THE PHENOMENON OF ALLUSION AND ITS APPLICATION IN SPOKEN DISCOURSE

Abstract

This article explores the concept of allusion, its scientific interpretation, and
stylistic-aesthetic functions in spoken discourse. The role of allusions within a historical and
cultural context, their types, and functional applications in speech are analyzed based on scientific
sources. The article also examines the mechanism by which allusive elements from folklore,
literary, and religious texts are incorporated into everyday spoken language.
