Abstract

This article analyzes the motivational impact of intensive assessment

mechanisms on the educational process. Assessment is viewed not merely as a tool for measuring

outcomes, but as a pedagogical instrument that stimulates students' learning activity. Through

formative assessment, diagnostic tests, reflective writing, rating-based evaluation, and peer

assessment, the study explores how self-awareness, responsibility, learning interest, and a positive

competitive environment can be fostered. The article presents methodological approaches,

practical experiences, and the motivational functions of assessment as a means to enhance

educational effectiveness.
