CHULPAN AND UZBEK MODERN SONG

Abstract

The national Uzbek poet Chulpan occupies a special place in the development of Uzbek classical and modern singing art. His poems with a love theme, such as "Gyzal" ("Beautiful"), "Kalandar ishki" ("Kalandar's Love") are sung by famous Uzbek performers. The article analyzes the features of the poet's poems that have been transformed into a song.
