HISTORY OF THE TEXTILE INDUSTRY AS A LIGHT INDUSTRY BRANCH

Abstract

The article provides information about the history of light industry in Bukhara. The textile industry operating in Bukhara during the years of independence was characterized by the import of weaving machines necessary for light industry from a number of foreign countries. A number of positive changes in the light industry sector in the Republic of Uzbekistan also had a positive impact on the Bukhara textile industry. The textile industry underwent a modernization process. Agreements on the sale of equipment necessary for light industry and cooperation in the field of textile development were signed with developed foreign countries. The information provided is based on information obtained from a number of literature, sources and interviews.
