Abstract

This article explores the issues of developing students' competence in subjects
by teaching artistic works in elementary grades based on a synergistic approach. The synergetic
approach organizes the educational process as a whole, and serves to form students' creative
thinking, analytical approach, and interdisciplinary understanding skills when studying works of
art. The article examines ways of developing students' interdisciplinary competencies by analyzing
works of art and connecting their content with life events
