DESIGNING A COMPETENCY-BASED EDUCATIONAL PROCESS IN THE PREPARATION OF FUTURE TEACHERS

Abstract

The article analyzes the process of preparing future teachers on the basis of
a competency-based approach. The effectiveness of education is determined not only by the level
of theoretical knowledge acquired, but also by the ability to apply this knowledge in pedagogical
situations, analyze problems, and make well-grounded professional decisions. On this basis, the
methodological potential of the model “competency – professional action – authentic situation –
activity product – assessment evidence – feedback” is examined. This approach contributes to the
development of future teachers’ competence in independently identifying and developing
pedagogical solutions in professional situations.
