Abstract

Annotation. This article provides a scientific analysis of the settlement of representatives of various religious faiths in Mawarannahr, Khorasan, and adjacent territories during the reign of the Timurid dynasty (14th–15th centuries), their territorial distribution, and the historical factors that led to this process. The study examines the political stability formed during the Timurid era, urban planning and economic development, the expansion of trade and craft ties, the activities of the Great Silk Road networks, the state's resettlement policy from various regions, and the rulers' support for science and culture as factors that influenced the process of settlement of religious communities.
