Abstract

This article examines the structure, content, and scholarly value of "Memoirs" by
the Turkestan reformer Ahmad Zaki Validi as an important historical source. The study analyzes
the work's contribution to understanding the history of the Jadid movement in Turkestan, the
process of national awakening, socio-political developments, and educational reforms. Particular
attention is paid to its pedagogical significance, highlighting the author's views on education,
moral upbringing, national identity, patriotism, and the formation of a well-rounded personality.
The findings demonstrate the potential of the Memoirs as a valuable source for historicalpedagogical research and for enriching educational practice
