SCHOPENHAUER’S CONCEPT OF THE WORLD AS WILL AND REPRESENTATION

Abstract

This article analyzes Schopenhauer's approach to life, existence, and his ideas
about happiness. He believed that we perceive the world of things as interconnected and causeand-effect. This is how our understanding of the world as a whole is formed. We connect everything
and understand the universal. All these concepts relate only to specific parts of existence and the
subject. But this has nothing to do with the Absolute. And man, thanks to his intellectual abilities,
has the ability to deny this will and attain freedom. This teaching demonstrates the complex
harmony of aesthetics, ontology, and natural philosophy
