COMMENTS FROM THE CURRENT PRESS ABOUT THE HOLDING OF WEDDING AND CEREMONIES IN THE BUKHARA EMIRATE

Abstract

This article analyzes the considerations related to the coverage of weddings
and various ceremonies in the Bukhara Emirate at the beginning of the 20th century and the
extravagance and pomp allowed in them in the modern press of Turkestan and Bukhara, and
compares them with the cities of the Turkestan General Governorate. The opinions and
considerations covered in the press about the negative situations in society that arise after the
pomp at weddings and ceremonies are studied.
