UZBEKISTAN’S COOPERATION WITH CENTRAL ASIAN COUNTRIES ON UNESCO AFFAIRS

Abstract

Annotation. This scientific article provides an in-depth and systematic analysis of Uzbekistan’s cooperation with Central Asian states within the framework of UNESCO. The study explores mechanisms for protecting regional cultural heritage based on UNESCO conventions, Uzbekistan’s proactive initiatives, and joint efforts to safeguard tangible and intangible heritage. Special attention is given to the Khiva Process, international cultural forums, transboundary heritage sites, and challenges of heritage management, followed by scholarly conclusions and recommendations
