PREPARING FUTURE TEACHERS TO INTEGRATE DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES INTO THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS

Abstract

This study analyzes qualitative research that highlights strategies aimed at
preparing future teachers to effectively use technologies in the teaching–learning process. A meta
ethnographic approach was employed, through which selected studies were examined based on
identification, critical appraisal, and synthesis of their findings. In order to reveal the
interrelationships among the key dimensions, a comprehensive conceptual model was developed.
Based on the interpretation of the analysis results, recommendations were proposed to improve
the process of preparing future teachers through technology, as well as directions for future
research.
