GENERAL CLASSIFICATION OF THE PALACES OF THE EMIRATE OF BUKHARA AND THEIR ARCHITECTURAL TRADITIONS

Abstract

The Bukhara Emirate, one of the great states of the East, managed to maintain
its glory as one of the developed states even during the Mangid period. The emirs who ruled the
state throughout the 20th century paid attention to the construction of palaces and their
reconstruction at the state level. The palaces of the emirate were distinguished by their oasis
nature, location, and the uniqueness of their construction traditions and styles. This article
summarizes and scientifically analyzes information on the general classification of palaces of this
period, their construction style, and the functions of the palaces.
