HISTORICAL ANALYSES OF SOCIO-DEMOGRAPHIC CHANGES IN SURXONDARYO REGION DURING THE YEARS OF INDEPENDENCE

Abstract

This article provides a historical analysis of socio-demographic changes in
the Surkhandarya region during the years of independence. Population dynamics, migration
processes, urbanization trends, age structure, and transformations in social composition are
examined in relation to regional development factors. The findings contribute to understanding
the characteristics of sustainable socio-demographic development in the region.
