THE IMPORTANCE OF USING PSYCHOLOGICAL KNOWLEDGE IN THE PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS OFFICERS AND WAYS TO IMPROVE IT

Abstract

This scientific article analyzes the theoretical and practical aspects of the use of psychological knowledge in the professional activities of employees of internal affairs bodies. In the context of the complication of crime, the subjective sides of the crime — the variety of motives and goals, and the widening conditions for the commission of a crime, the psychological training of law enforcement officers is justified as an important professional factor. Also, priorities and effective mechanisms for improving psychological knowledge are highlighted.
