Аннотация

This article examines the role of historical sources in enhancing the

professional competence of history teachers. Working with historical sources develops teachers'

abilities to think critically, analyze, conduct research, and utilize modern methodological

approaches in the classroom. The article demonstrates the methodological advantages of the

source study approach, its potential for developing teacher competencies, and provides practical

recommendations.
