The article examines the problem of spiritual and moral education of younger
schoolchildren in the context of the modern personality crisis and the transformation of social
values. The importance of primary school age as a period of active socialization and the formation
of a child's moral position is emphasized. The factors that hinder the spiritual and moral
development of a personality and lead to behavioral deviations are analyzed. It should be noted
that the spiritual and moral education of younger schoolchildren is a complex and multifaceted
task that requires a systematic and integrated approach. The successful solution of this task will
allow the younger generation to form a solid foundation for a full and harmonious life based on
high moral principles and spiritual values
